Mold Maker Repair Technician
Perm - 2nd shift -- Repair a wide variety of high precision injection molds, where design is available but involves considerable development to work out mechanisms and details and determine what the problem is and how the tool is to be repaired. Evaluate the damage to determine the amount of time necessary for repairs. Determine what the problem is and repair the mold. Build and use special jigs and fixtures to attain desired results. Perform machine operations requiring setups and methods to maintain very close tolerances and fits; highly skilled bench work involving grinding, fitting, indexing, timing, assembling and adjusting to insure satisfactory operation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
