JOB TITLE: Mold Operator
POSITION
Summary: Operates one or more injection molding machines in accordance with operator instruction sheets and established procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Read shop order and visual aid instructions
Verify shop order and label information
Perform highly repetitive operations to assemble and pack assemblies in prescribed packaging
Visually scan parts for quality defects before packing, applying labels and packing on skids
Perform a thorough hourly inspection of product and record results
Follow established procedures to reject nonconforming product
Notify Technicians to answer alarms and red lights as needed
Maintain good housekeeping
Move finished product
Get packaging supplies
Inspect and sort nonconforming product as needed
Understand and adhere to TS16949 / ISO14001 procedures specific to department. Employees are expected to participate and/or lead group activities such as problem solving teams, to support our goals of employee empowerment, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
In the course of normal job responsibilities, working with hazardous waste may be required. As a result of this, to insure proper safety and environmental protection, annual training in the proper handling of hazardous waste may be required. Training will be provided by the employer.

Dexterity to perform assembly operations
Lift up to 30 lbs to skid product as many as 24 times per hour
Constant standing and walking or sit for extended periods
Visually able to inspect minute detail
Must read operator instructions and fill out paperwork with rejections
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: High school education or equivalent is preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
